name is Greg Higgins, I'm a family physician in Picton, Ontario. It's a
amazing piece of the world with sand dunes and beaches, wineries and

I got my first Palm in 2001 and decided to figure out something useful
to do with the new toy. I always found it so frustrating to have to run
from an exam room to my office to look up a Limited Use code. Although
I actually agree with most of the Limited Use criteria, I found the
inability to quickly access the codes very annoying. I tried to find a
listing of the codes in a format that was easily accessible on my Palm,
but to my surprise, no one had thought of doing it yet. A little
research led me to List, a very simple, free database reader for the
Palm. I soon had the database up and running on my Palm.
I thought it would be nice to share my work, so I threw together a
rather crude website without really knowing what I was doing. The title
on the original website was 'Palm Databases for Ontario Docs'
rather than Physicians because I couldn't figure out how to fit the
extra letters on one line in the header (I kid you not). I've
progressed a bit since then as I start to wade into writing my own html
code. I initially intended to just share it with my local colleagues,
but word about it seemed to spread remarkably fast. The site has
received close to 20,000 visits now without me promoting it in any way.
This little project has never cost me a penny thanks to a freebie web
hosting service (sorry about the ads, I may splurge and buy a proper
hosting service sometime), and I've never made a penny off it.
